Reiki Master joins the team

The Wellness Clinic Epping has welcomed a new therapist to its team.Victoria Robertson is a Reiki Master and complementry therapist.She is also an expert at crystal healing, indian head massage and accupressure.An open day is being held on January 7th when the first 60 visitors will recieve a gift.

Enjoy new hands off approach to massage

A health centre is offering a new type of massage to customers which involves no contact with the body at all.

The Wellness Centre in station road Epping had an open day to show clients how the energy balancing treatment works.

Victoria Robertson a new therapist at the centre presented visual and interactive displays and demonstrated how Reiki is performed by keeping her hands eight inches away from the body.

Clinic owner Valerie Lal said "Its a way of harnessing a persons energyYou lie down and Vicky holds her hands away from the body to draw out bad energy.Its a wonderful treatment and gives you a glowing radiant and relaxed feeling for your mind and spirit"

More than 60 people attended the open day where information was provided about treatments on offer,including Indian head massage,crystal healing and chakra balancing.

CHILL! Bar's relaxation therapy

Customers at the Speak Easy bar relax with a massage while performers play relaxing sounds.

Customers at an Epping bar have been offered massage with their drink.The Stress Buster team visited the Speak Easy bar in the High Street,to help uptight workers or harassed parents unwind.Hot stone massages,eyebrow threading and reflexology were all on the menu along side a gin and tonic or a dry white wine.And to complete the chilled out experience local band Cling performed uplifting songs.Reiki Master and inspirational coach Victoria Robertson who runs the Stress Buster evenings said "The combination of the ambient sounds provided by Cling and the treatments proved to be pure bliss to customers,feedback was good and this has inspired me to organise more special combination evening's"

"I provided free taster sessions on Thursday 12th June 2008 for Reiki Awareness day at the Wellness Centre Epping.Even though it was a raining day there was still a constant flow of people that came to have a taster session and to find out more about Reiki"

Mind and body served at library

MASTERMIND:Reiki Master Victoria Robertson in action

More commonly regarded as a sedate place of study,Walthanm Abbey library was a hive of activity when it hosted a day dedicated to mind and body.A variety of activities highlighted local opportunities for people to improve their health and fitness on the theme mind and body.Particularly popular was the chance for visitors to try their hand at Reiki and yoga,and have a go at a variety of sports via wii games console.More than 40 people attended a talk by Victoria Robertson Reiki Master.Andrian Ure,audience development officer for Essex libraries said " The aim was to promote the multimedia of books,DVD's and CD's that we have to help the public with their health and fitness,and at the same time look to promote the library's place at the centre of the community."

Oasis of therapeutic calm

A stress busting evening proved popular with people keen to try alternative therapies in a bid to reduce their blood pressure.Holistic therapist Victoria Robertson and colleagues organised the event at Harlow Town FC's Barrows farm staduim.Treatments included hot stone massages, Thai foot massages, Reflexology, Reiki ,hand rejuventating techniques  and makeovers.Visionary artist Tony Pinfold provided projection meditation throughout the evening while duo Cling played soothing music to calm the guests.The event was such a success that Victoria has organised more evening stress-busting clinics in the future.She runs her walk in clinic at the football club from 2 - 6pm on Friday's
